Peter Cox, whose father fought with 2 New Zealand Division, is a chartered accountant and company director. He and his wife live in Christchurch, New Zealand; they have two children and two grandchildren, all of whom live in England. In 2019 he was awarded the Queen's Service Medal for services to sport, particularly hockey.
